I've had this for several weeks and it has been great. I manually empty out the water bucket, but it is easy to remove and carry it. After about a week it started shutting itself off for short periods as it got the humidity level under control in our apartment. Removing and cleaning the filter is easy, although the directions aren't the greatest on removing the filter. It required seperating it from the removable cover which is not mentioned, but it is flexible and comes off fairly easy. It was still very clean when the filter warning light came on. The wheels are great because we move it between rooms daily.

We bought this because the house we are renting is humid. The basement would read up to 73% humidity and now this unit can get the number in the high 40™™s. The air feels much better now. The unit does produce some noise and air that blows out is not hot but not cool. But we don™™t need the unit right next to us in a bedroom or tv room. I like that it kicks off if it reaches humidity setting goal. You can tie it into a drain source if you want, but we just manually empty daily.

This was a replacement under warranty for a 50-pint unit that i was told was equivalent. This 35-pint unit runs all the time and my basement is a least 10 degrees warmer. It also seems louder that the old one even on the low fan setting. I assume that if it had been replaced with the larger capacity like i had before, it would run less.

This was a breeze to unpack and get running. I easily connected it to a garden hose so that I don't have to manually empty it. The operating volume level is so low that I barely notice that it is running. Very happy with this make/model.

This is a warranty replacement of a 4 and a half year old unit. The old unit worked very well until it stopped working. The old unit was a 50 pint and they replaced it with a 35 pint which they did still had the same efficiency as the 50 pint.

We have very little experience since we bought the dehumidifier at the end of the humid summer season. It ran once or twice and did ok. Only issue for now is that the emptying of the water container is awkward and results in spills.

I've had dehumidifiers for over 20 years to keep my basements and below ground rooms dry. When two of my units quit working I looked for a replacement. Wirecutter rated two Frigidair units very highly, unfortunately they were no longer available at Home Depot. This one looked like it met my needs and had good reviews so I bought it. I love the interface and the system is the quietest dehumidifier I've ever had. It quickly dropped the humidity in my basement from 65% to 35%. After several days the fan had not quit running. I reset the unit to 70% and the fan quit. Back on 50% and it ran. It was pulling all t he moisture out of the walls, floors, far more efficiently than the old units ever did. The bucket holds over 4 gallons of water, the largest I've ever had. Now the unit is slowing down after several weeks. Do you know the feeling when you buy something new and find out it exceeds your expectations? Well this is one of those rare moments. I love this unit, it is very well designed, great user interface, works very well. Perfect for my needs. My basement is below ground. 3/4 converted to a family room. This one unit is all I need to keep the moisture down to a comfortable, mold free level.

I purchased this product to replace an older (different brand) one that was giving me trouble. It easy to set up. It has been running continuously for about 2 weeks, due in large part to the humid weather, and is filling up at least once a day.. I hope it stands the test of time!

I bought this several weeks ago and wish I had gotten one years ago! It's in my great room and although the fan is a little noisy at high speed, it's very quiet on low, and quite acceptable on medium even when watching TV. I get cold easily, so I keep my central A/C on 78 degrees 24/7. Unfortunately in the humid deep south, that means the A/C doesn't run long enough to reduce the humidity inside my home to a comfortable level. So Frigidaire to the rescue! This little guy has no problem keeping my 1,000 sq ft home at 50% humidity, even with the A/C set at 78. It would be nice if I could use the auto-drain feature, but for now I empty the bucket once every day or two, depending upon the outside temperature and humidity level. No big deal. It's easy to remove from the front, has a clear splash guard across the top, and a built-in handle. Love it and highly recommend it!

Replaced under warranty for unit that was only two years old. Warranty process was easy and agent was very helpful but replacement dehumidifier was substituted with a lesser unit. Original was 50 pints, replacement is 35 pints. So far it does the job but it runs more often.

I bought this a little over a month ago for my new house. I like that I can select the level of humidity or the amount of time it should run. The display also shows the level of humidity currently in the area - which saves a lot of guess work. The bucket is a bit small, but it was remarkably easy to attach a hose to the back. Also - the filter is washable!!! Totally would recommend.
